Clinical Coordinator - Complex Care

Sheltering Arms Institute is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to join our team. The Clinical Coordinator facilitates patient flow, and coordinates activities and communication for the unit during their assigned shift. This person ensures that the patient care is delivered to all patients on the nursing unit in an efficient, caring, and courteous manner working alongside a transdisciplinary team of nurses, doctors, therapists, and medical psychologists.

Compensation
  • $39.00-$55.00
  • This rate reflects our commitment to pay equity and market-competitive compensation.
  • Final compensation depends on experience, skills, and internal equity.


Qualifications and Skills

Required
  • 3 years previous experience providing care in either an acute care or inpatient rehab facility
  • Previous charge nurse or supervisory experience

Preferred
  • Experience with staffing, scheduling and clinical skill mix

Education/Certifications
  • Graduate of an approved RN nursing program; BSN preferred
  • RN licensure in the Commonwealth of VA
  • AHA BLS HCP certification or equivalent
  • CRRN, CBIS, or other nursing specialty certification or willingness to acquire within defined parameters
