Job Description

Cottage Clinical Associates seeks a Clinical Child Psychologist for theirPediatric Multispecialty Clinic. This role is to provide clinical neurodevelopmental and behavioral psychology services to youth (birth through 21 years) with significant developmental, mental, behavioral/emotional and learning disorders and the families of these patients, in an outpatient setting. Includes diagnosis, evaluation, testing, consulting and therapy services. Encompasses communication and collaboration with pediatric subspecialists, therapists, residents, families, school personnel, and other healthcare and community providers. Collaborates with colleagues in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics, Neurology, Adolescent Medicine, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

Education
  • Minimum: Ph.D. or Psy.D in Psychology with specialization in child/adolescent clinical or school psychology or neurodevelopmental and behavioral psychology.
  • Preferred: Post-doctoral fellowship in pediatric or child clinical psychology. Eligible for board certification in clinical and/or health psychology. Training and specialization in diagnostic instruments including Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:
  • Minimum: California Board of Psychology License

Technical Requirement
  • Minimum: Bi-lingual in English and Spanish.

Years of Related Work Experience:
  • Minimum: 1 year of supervised post-doctoral experience
  • Preferred: 4-5 years' experience in the treatment of children with mental, developmental disabilities and/or behavior challenges.
