Compensation range:
$35.75 - $48.26
Your rate of pay will be based on applicable experience

Shift: Days Shift length: 8 Hours
Days off: Fixed If fixed, days off: Saturday & Sunday
Hours per pay period: 80

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Clinic Supervisor is responsible for the development, coordination and operational management of the clinic(s). The Clinic Supervisor is also responsible for supervising clinic staff, assisting with program development, marketing and business planning in collaboration with the clinic leadership team and the Medical Director (if applicable) for the service. The Supervisor collaborates with providers, staff and Enloe's leadership team to plan, organize, coordinate and monitor the provision of quality and efficient health care services and resources to promote optimal clinical, financial and satisfaction outcomes across the continuum of care.

EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE:

Minimum:
  • Two years clerical experience in medical setting.
  • One-year supervisory experience in a hospital ambulatory area, hospital-based clinic or medical practice setting.


Desired:
  • Associates or bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or related field.
  • Membership in a professional organization and attendance to conferences regarding management and supervision of employees.


SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES

Must demonstrate technical competence, professional judgment, strong communication and organizational skills, planning skills, creative problem solving and sensitivity for the patient experience. Must have knowledge of regulatory requirements for areas of responsibility to include standards of Medicare Conditions of Participation and criteria applicable to the clinic practice. Ability to communicate in a knowledgeable and articulate manner with providers and staff regarding operational initiatives. Ability to work with other department staff and all other hospital personnel in professional, positive, efficient, and tactful manner. Ability to deal with the public (including patient's visitors) in a professional and tactful manner, as it relates to questions or concerns regarding patient's conditions, status and care preferred. Ability to interface with all hospital departments so that the resources may be utilized to maximize patient care in an expedient fashion. Must be flexible in prioritizing ever-changing patient status and workloads. Must possess computer skills with Microsoft Word and Outlook programs. Must demonstrate efficient organization, communication and planning skills. Demonstrates strong leadership, decision-making and judgment skills. Must be flexible, innovative, and creative in planning and problem solving. Communicates, advises, writes and consults in a professional manner. Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position and consistently demonstrate the core values of Enloe Medical Center, serving as a role model to other employees.
