About the job you're consideringAs a Client Partner, your primary responsibility is to foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction with Capgemini solutions and services while driving the growth and expansion of our business within assigned client(s). Reporting to the Global Client Partner, this role requires a strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of both technology and business. You will be responsible for managing a book of business within the global relationship with the client by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and ensuring the successful structuring of proposals and solutions that generate successful delivery. The Client Partner plays a crucial role in achieving the company's relationship, market, financial, and people growth.
The client manager is responsible for one or more clients (from small clients to group and PACE clients). The client manager has a thorough understanding of the issues strategy and organization. They build a 1 to 3 years strategy roadmap for the account. The client manager becomes a strategic partner and trusted advisor in developing the client & shaping opportunities. They coordinate operations and ensure delivery quality. Understands the client's local/global strategy, is able to influence the client strategy with the Capgemini strategy and portfolio and understands the market and industry and positioning as industry expert.
Your role - Develop new business in the Utilities industry.
- Drive the sales process while leveraging Capgemini subject matter experts and executives, as needed.
- Managing the sales process while leveraging Capgemini subject matter experts and executives, as needed.
- Annual minimum quota expectations required.
- Qualify leads, networking, events and/or other sources and develop relationships with C level executives within targeted accounts.
- Work with the solutions team in the Technology Services, Outsourcing and the various Sector groups to develop and win a pipeline of new/add-on business.
- Create opportunities across all service lines, taking accountability for qualification and closure of new business within the account.
- Manage client expectations throughout the sales cycle and closing process.
- Manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities.
- Provide support and drive business with client to achieve revenue growth, profitability, and continuing customer satisfaction
- Manage account plans and forecast, and provide status reports.
- Drive new business development within an assigned territory, industry, or portfolio
- Identify, qualify, and pursue complex and strategic sales opportunities from lead generation through deal closure
- Manage sales strategies aligned with organizational growth objectives
Your skills and experience - Extensive experience serving clients within the Utlities Industry is required.
- Extensive experience with dedicated Business Development experience in enterprise sales of IT and business-related services
- Experience selling end-to-end solutions and professional services
- Experience in building and maintaining relationships with senior executives within assigned sector
- A proved track record of achieving annual sales quotas
- Ability to travel and work in an office as required
- Familiar with partner-led sales and joint go-to-market motions
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $139,400 - $277,200
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.
The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.
In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
