Salary Range: $79,615.84 to $96,079.75

A typical day for the eLearning Experience and Facilitation Specialist
  • Delivering informative and engaging virtual webinars and in-person sessions that support pension plan members and clients in making informed decisions.
  • Helping members and employers understand pension benefits and processes by providing clear, accurate, and timely information.
  • Collaborating with clients and team members to design practical and innovative educational resources that meet member needs.
  • Developing customized eLearning solutions that strengthen learning outcomes, which may include:
    • instructional design
    • online training development
    • storyboard creation
    • content development
    • platform integration
    • graphic design

What you bring
  • At least two years of experience facilitating workshops or seminars for diverse audiences
  • Strong facilitation skills and familiarity with best practices in adult learning
  • Excellent relationship-building and customer service skills, with a focus on creating positive and respectful interactions
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design and2-3 years experience in eLearning design and LMS experience
    • Relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
  • Experience in instructional design and eLearning content development
  • Familiarity with pension plans administered by APS, including relevant legislation and regulations
  • Advanced skills in Articulate (Storyline), Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Proficient in the use of Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Suite.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong comprehension of LMS technology
  • Knowledge of SharePoint and SharePoint Online tools and resources
  • Solid understanding of best practices for the use of technology-mediated learning.
  • Proven ability to effectively prioritize work and implement solutions in a fast-paced environment within tight timelines
  • Ability to understand complex information and re-write it in a suitable learning format
  • Must have a valid Class 5 driver's license; use of a personal vehicle is required
  • Travel in Alberta is a requirement of this position
