Qualifications

• 5+ years in supervising civil/grading crews specializing in earthwork and foundations.
• Strong leadership skills in safety including OSHA regulations and incident management.
• Proficient in field planning, cost, and schedule control.
• Experience in QA/QC execution and interpreting specifications.
• Valid driver license with a clean motor vehicle record.
• Ability to travel 100% with established rotations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach project teams including assistant superintendents and craft personnel.
• Enforce field safety standards and conduct orientations and job hazard analyses.
• Plan and schedule labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors for optimal productivity.
• Monitor and manage costs and schedules to match project estimates, addressing variances with the Site Manager.
• Ensure quality compliance with project standards and specifications, setting expectations for craft and subcontractors.
• Collaborate with the Site Manager for effective communication and stakeholder negotiations.
