Qualifications

• 6-10 years of relevant professional experience in environmental, landfill, solid waste, civil, or geotechnical engineering.
• Experience in moderately complex infrastructure projects, particularly landfill development, permits, and site development.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills suitable for technical and client interactions.
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Civil, or Geotechnical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) licensed in Ontario or eligible for registration.
• Authorized to work in Canada. Authorization or willingness to work from an Ontario office location.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and support solid waste and landfill projects throughout their lifecycle, from planning to construction.
• Independently prepare technical deliverables including engineering reports, environmental permits, and design documents.
• Apply sound professional judgment in coordinating technical inputs across various engineering disciplines.
• Support construction activities with quality assurance, contractor coordination, and contract administration.
• Engage directly with internal project managers, regulators, contractors, and clients as needed.
• Contribute discipline expertise to proposals and scope development under senior guidance.
