Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant engineering design experience
• Professional Engineering (P.E.) License (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
• Experience with municipal engineering, particularly pump stations and treatment facilities
• Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software like WaterGEMS and SewerGEMS
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and urgency for quality
• Experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines
• Entrepreneurial mindset with leadership potential

Responsibilities

• Design water transmission and distribution systems and related projects
• Manage project tasks, design, permitting, and construction coordination
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients for project success
• Ensure high quality in project plans and peer-check others' work
• Develop work plans adhering to client budgets while demonstrating project management skills
• Engage with clients, government, and regulatory bodies during project life cycles
• Track project progress against schedules and budgets
• Build meaningful relationships internally and externally, enhancing teamwork
