The City of Sammamish is seeking a seasoned municipal executive to serve as its next City Manager and lead a dedicated organization through a period of organizational transition, fiscal stewardship, and major community investment. Overseeing eight direct reports, a workforce of approximately 146 employees, and a $331 million budget, the City Manager partners closely with the City Council to advance priority initiatives and guide the organization's long-term direction. This leader strengthens organizational alignment, supports effective service delivery, and helps ensure Sammamish continues to evolve in a way that reflects the community's diverse needs, values, and long-term interests, including thoughtful stewardship of its natural environment. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in strategic planning, fiscal management, growth and development, and major project execution, along with the political acumen, integrity, and communication skills needed to lead effectively.
