Job Description:GDIT is seeking a
Project Manager to support the
National Institutes of Health (NIH), Center for Information Technology (CIT) for the
Business Applications Services (BAS) Program, specifically the
NIH Ethics Enterprise System (NEES). NEES supports ethics-related workflows across NIH, including financial disclosure, approval routing, and compliance processes. The Project Manager will lead the NEES team by coordinating schedules, planning releases, aligning tasks to Government priorities, and supporting operational activities across CIT and BAS teams.
Responsibilities include task planning, requirements coordination, iterative planning, stakeholder communication, and oversight across requirements, design, development, testing, and release cycles. The Project Manager partners with Technical Leads, analysts, and CIT stakeholders to support ethics workflows and maintain consistent operations.
Other responsibilities will include:- Converting Government priorities into actionable plans
- Leading NEES schedule planning and release coordination
- Managing workflow tasks, sprint activities, and operational windows
- Coordinating stakeholder updates and contract reporting
- Supporting requirements refinement and documentation
- Facilitating communication across Institutes and Centers ethics offices and CIT governance
- Supporting onboarding for new personnel assigned to NEES
- Coordinating risks, issues, and operational dependencies
Required Qualifications and Skills:- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent)
- Minimum 10 years of experience as an IT Project Manager
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing IT projects of similar size and complexity using similar technologies
- Minimum 2 years of experience leading projects in agile or iterative EPLCs
- Minimum 2 years of experience leading IT projects for the Federal Government
- Ability to work with key owners and stakeholders across ethics programs
- Ability to lead teams in analyzing and adopting new technologies quickly
- Solid understanding of Requirements, Design, Implementation, Testing, and EPLC
- Ability to obtain and maintain NIH Public Trust
Desired Skills:- Experience supporting NIH or CIT ethics systems
- Understanding of workflow automation platforms
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Active NIH badge is a plus
The likely salary range for this position is $144,500 - $195,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
