The Opportunity

As a Tax JD Associate, you will engage with clients to navigate the complexities of the global tax landscape, providing tailored tax services that optimize strategies, minimize risks, and drive compliance. Within our Tax practice, you will be part of a team that delivers innovative solutions to help clients achieve sustainable growth in an ever-changing tax environment.

As an Associate, you will focus on learning and contributing to client engagements while developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. You will be exposed to clients to learn how to build meaningful connections, manage and inspire others, and grow your personal brand by deepening your technical knowledge of firm services and technology resources. In this role at PwC, you will support senior staff, engage in research, and participate in project tasks, all while developing a deeper understanding of the business context and how it is evolving. Responsibilities

- Navigating the complexities of global tax regulations to optimize tax strategies and minimize risks
- Supporting tax compliance efforts by preparing consolidated tax returns and income tax provisions
- Assisting in corporate tax planning and corporate transactions to drive sustainable growth
- Participating in post-deal integration processes, including tax and finance integration
- Collaborating with teams to develop tax models and provide tax consulting services
- Engaging in active listening and teamwork to enhance client support and deliver tailored tax solutions
- Utilizing intellectual curiosity to explore innovative tax strategies and industry-specific challenges
- Contributing to the preparation and analysis of purchase and sale agreements (PSA) for tax implications

What You Must Have

- Currently pursuing or have completed a Juris Doctorate degree
- At least a 3.0 overall GPA
- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements and demonstrate a commitment to undertaking and passing Bar exam
- Client service associate positions are entry-level roles and job seekers have completed or are in the process of completing their final academic year of educational requirements

The salary range for this position is: $53,500 - $142,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
