Job Summary

  • Ventra Health seeks an experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the organization's technology strategy, infrastructure, security, and innovation initiatives across all operational geographies (United States, India, and Philippines). Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the CTO will oversee technology operations, information security, regulatory compliance, deploying agentic AI frameworks and agents and the strategic adoption of AI and automation to drive competitive advantage in the healthcare Revenue Cycle Management space.

  • Primary Location: United States (with regular travel to India and Philippines)


  • Geographic Responsibility: Multi-geography operations across US, India (Chennai, Coimbatore, Hyderabad), and Philippines (Clark, Pampanga)


Essential Functions and Tasks

Technology Strategy & Infrastructure Management

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive multi-year technology strategy aligned with enterprise business objectives


  • Oversee IT operations and infrastructure including servers, networks, cloud platforms, and systems architecture across all geographies


  • Manage help desk and technical support functions to ensure optimal uptime, performance, and user satisfaction


  • Evaluate, recommend, and oversee implementation of technology solutions and enterprise software platforms


  • Lead IT budget planning, resource allocation, and vendor management


Information Security & Compliance

  • Establish and maintain comprehensive information security policies, standards, and frameworks


  • Oversee security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing across all systems and geographies


  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, SOC 2, and other healthcare and data protection regulations applicable to Ventra Health


  • Develop and enforce business continuity and disaster recovery plans


  • Lead incident response and cybersecurity risk management initiatives


  • Maintain and optimize security monitoring, threat detection, and incident response protocols


AI & Automation Initiatives

  • Lead organizational strategy for AI and automation adoption to improve operational efficiency and service delivery


  • Evaluate emerging AI and automation technologies relevant to Revenue Cycle Management and healthcare operations


  • Collaborate with business units to identify and prioritize automation opportunities


  • Oversee development and deployment of AI-driven solutions and RPA initiatives


  • Manage relationships with technology partners and vendors specializing in AI and automation


  • Deploying agentic AI frameworks and agents.


Multi-Geography Operations

  • Ensure consistent technology standards, security protocols, and operational excellence across US, India, and Philippines operations


  • Develop and manage technology roadmaps that account for geographic, regulatory, and business-specific requirements


  • Lead technology teams across multiple time zones and cultures


  • Build and scale IT support and infrastructure capabilities to support growth across geographies


Executive Leadership

  • Sit on the Executive Leadership Team and contribute to strategic business planning and decision-making


  • Partner with other C-level executives and business leaders to align technology initiatives with enterprise objectives


  • Communicate technology strategy, investments, and results to the Board of Directors, CEO, and stakeholder community


Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field


  • Minimum 15+ years of progressive technology leadership experience, with at least 8 years in a CTO, VP Technology, or equivalent C-level role


  • Demonstrated expertise in enterprise IT infrastructure, systems architecture, and cloud platform management (AWS, Azure, or GCP)


  • Strong background in information security, compliance, and audit management (HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001 preferred)


  • Proven track record of leading technology teams and managing organizational change at scale


  • Proven track record of successful AI and automation rollout initiatives, including design, implementation, and value realization


  • Experience with business process automation, RPA, and AI/ML applications in enterprise environments


  • Strong financial acumen and proven ability to manage large technology budgets


  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive presence


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Experience in healthcare, Revenue Cycle Management, or Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industries


  • Experience managing technology operations across multiple geographies, particularly with Asia-Pacific operations


  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS Computer Science) or relevant certifications (PMP, CISSP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect)


  • Background in healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR) and healthcare IT compliance


  • Experience with M&A activities or technology integration projects


Compensation

  • Base Compensation will be based on various factors unique to each candidate including geographic location, skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
  • This position is also eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus in accordance with company policies.
