Full Job Description
Description/Responsibilities

Our Chief of Staff serves as a strategic partner to the CEO and a trusted advisor to the Executive Operating Team, helping translate priorities into execution across the enterprise. This role acts as a force multiplier for the CEO, ensuring organizational focus, alignment, accountability, and effective decision-making.

Our Chief of Staff operates at the intersection of strategy, operations, communications, and governance. Rather than owning a specific functional area, this leader enables the business to execute its most important priorities by facilitating leadership alignment, managing executive operating rhythms, supporting Board meeting cadences, and driving cross-functional initiatives that require enterprise coordination.

Our ideal candidate is an exceptional problem solver, communicator, and organizational leader who can influence across all levels of the company, manage ambiguity, and balance strategic thinking with practical execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Executive Leadership & Strategic Alignment
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner to the Executive Team on enterprise priorities, organizational effectiveness, and business performance.
  • Translate strategic objectives into clear executive action plans and governance mechanisms.
  • Ensure alignment across the Executive Team on priorities, decisions, risks, and key initiatives.
  • Monitor progress against company goals and proactively identify obstacles, dependencies, and execution risks.
  • Prepare executive analyses, business cases, presentations, and recommendations to support decision-making.

Executive Leadership Team Effectiveness
  • Lead the cadence and effectiveness of Executive Team meetings, off-sites, and planning sessions.
  • Establish and manage operating rhythms, scorecards, and executive dashboards that drive accountability.
  • Coordinate follow-up and execution of key decisions and commitments.
  • Facilitate collaboration across business functions to improve organizational agility and execution.

Board & Governance Support
  • Partner with the CEO and Executive Leadership Team to support Board governance activities.
  • Coordinate development of Board materials, presentations, agendas, and executive summaries.
  • Facilitate preparation for Board and committee meetings.
  • Track Board directives and ensure alignment with management actions and follow-up activities.

Enterprise Priorities & Special Initiatives
  • Lead high-impact, cross-functional initiatives that do not have a natural organizational owner.
  • Support enterprise transformations, organizational changes, operating model improvements, and strategic initiatives.
  • Drive issue resolution and decision-making across multiple stakeholders and business functions.
  • Ensure initiatives remain aligned with company objectives and deliver measurable business value.
  • Serve as a liaison between executive leadership and key stakeholder groups.
  • Ensure consistent communication of company priorities and decisions across the organization.

Business Operations & Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to improve organizational effectiveness, simplify processes, and enhance decision-making.
  • Support enterprise planning processes, including annual operating plans, strategic planning cycles, and quarterly business reviews.
  • Analyze business performance and provide insights to support executive decision-making.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Success in this role will be measured by:
  • Increased alignment and execution against enterprise priorities.
  • Improved effectiveness of Executive Team decision-making and accountability.
  • Timely and high-quality Board and governance support.
  • Successful delivery of enterprise initiatives and strategic commitments.
  • Improved visibility into organizational performance, risks, and opportunities.
  • Positive feedback from executive leadership regarding communication, coordination, and operating effectiveness.
