Position Overview

Jaffa Management — part of the Jaffa group of companies — in partnership with Beacon Resources, is seeking a Chief of Staff to join our leadership team. In this high-impact role, you’ll work closely with the Chief Investment Officer, Head of Insurance-Linked Securities (ILS), and Chief Financial Officer to optimize, monitor, and enhance all non-financial operational aspects of the business. Your portfolio will span IT systems, SPV launches, trade settlement, compliance coordination, vendor management, investor onboarding, and marketing content review — with a strong focus on technology adoption, automation, and AI initiatives.

This is both a strategic and hands-on role, offering a clear path to broader operational leadership — including potential promotion to Head of Operations for high performers.

Key Responsibilities

Technology-Enabled Execution

• Manage and improve enterprise systems (CRM, OMS, fund admin platforms, investor portal(s).
• Support automation and AI pilot programs to enhance efficiency and data insights.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external developers to implement tech solutions.

Operational Oversight

• Monitor and improve non-financial operations across the organization.
• Ensure timely, accurate trade settlement processes.
• Coordinate workflows across departments for seamless execution.
• Facilitate and coordinate regulatory audits.

Project Management

• Plan, prioritize, and track strategic projects (cloud migrations, OMS upgrades, product launches).
• Prototype, test, and monitor systems development to support business objectives.

Governance, Structuring, and Reporting

• Maintain RACI matrices and SOP playbooks.
• Manage executive dashboards.
• Coordinate SPV structuring, launches, and documentation.

Compliance & Controls

• Support Legal/Compliance with regulatory tracking and filings.
• Coordinate with fund administrators and service providers to maintain controls.
• Review marketing and investor communications for operational accuracy.

Investor Onboarding & Vendor Management

• Streamline institutional investor onboarding processes.
• Manage vendor sourcing, onboarding, and performance.

Qualifications

Required

• 3+ years in strategy, project management, or operations in financial services, fintech, asset management, or insurance.
• Working knowledge of fund operations, trade workflows, SPV structures, and investor servicing.
• Proficiency with enterprise systems (CRM, OMS, fund administration platforms).
• Strong project and vendor management skills, with exceptional organizational abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred

• Experience with ILS or structured finance vehicles.
• Familiarity with relevant regulatory and compliance frameworks.
• Experience in remote-first, entrepreneurial environments.
• Hands-on experience with process automation.
