Reporting to a Senior Officer, the Chief of Staff plays a highly visible and strategic leadership role supporting executive priorities and enterprise-wide initiatives. This position partners closely with senior executives across functions and external stakeholders to drive key business strategies, enhance organizational alignment, and accelerate critical system initiatives. As a successful candidate, you will:
  • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to senior leadership, providing insights, recommendations, and solutions to advance organizational priorities
  • Lead and manage high-impact, cross-functional initiatives, including business planning, risk assessment, and execution strategies
  • Partner with senior executives to drive enterprise-wide alignment and ensure successful implementation of strategic initiatives
  • Prepare executive-level presentations, communications, and materials for leadership forums, board meetings, and key stakeholders
  • Monitor and track priority initiatives, ensuring accountability and follow-through across leadership teams
  • Facilitate governance structures, leadership committees, and strategic planning processes to enhance system-wide collaboration
  • Act as a liaison between senior leadership, internal teams, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and execution
  • Conduct research and analysis on market trends, operational performance, and strategic opportunities to inform decision-making

Your qualifications should include:
  • Bachelor's degree required (advanced degree such as MBA, MHA, or MPH preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience working with C-suite leaders in healthcare, hospital operations, strategy, or related fields
  • 7+ years of leadership experience managing senior teams and driving enterprise-level initiatives
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects and deliver results in fast-paced environments
  • Exceptional executive communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and build trusted partnerships
  • Experience with governance structures, organizational transformation, and change management
  • Financial acumen with the ability to interpret budgets, forecasts, and business cases
  • High level of discretion, professionalism, and ability to manage confidential information
