- Oversight of 6 prescribers specific to medical care
- Primarily scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with occasional on-call assistance.

Your Benefits- $100,000 Sign on Bonus: Twenty-five percent (25%) of the sign-on bonus payment will be paid in the employee's first payroll check upon hire or as soon as reasonably practicable thereafter, twenty-five percent (25%) of the sign-on bonus payment will be paid after the affected employee's completion of three pay periods or as soon as reasonably practicable thereafter, and fifty percent (50%) of the sign-on bonus payment will be paid in the employee's payroll check for the first full pay period following successful completion of their initial one-year evaluation period. Employee may choose to defer receipt of the sign on bonus to the end of a fully served retention period without any repayment obligation.
- Holidays: 12 days per year with one additional floating holiday each year.
- Vacation: 10 days first 3 years; 15 days 4-9 years; 17 days 10-15 years; 20 days 16 years and thereafter.
- Sick Leave: 12 days per year with a generous pro rata payoff at termination after at least 5 years.
- Administrative Leave: 80 hours per calendar year.
- Retirement: CalPERS, coordinated with Social Security.
- Insurance: Medical and dental plan options, with the County paying for most of the employee and a portion of the dependent cost; a vision plan, a fully paid life insurance policy and long-term disability plan.

QUALIFICATIONS- Completion of academic coursework and training as defined in Section 623 of Title IX of the California Administrative Code and possession of M.D. degree from an accredited college or university and completion of an approved residency in psychiatry;
- Graduate training in psychiatry to be supplemented by an additional period of two (2) years of training or practice in the field of psychiatry, one (1) year of which shall be administrative or management experience. Additional specialization or certification in adult, older adult or youth psychiatry by a specialty board recognized by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association is highly desired;
- Possession of a Physician and Surgeon Certificate issued by the California Medical Board.
- Possession of a valid California driver's license.
- Incumbents are required to follow the ethical and legal standards required to maintain licensure with the California Medical Board.
