Chief of Maintenance directs all inspection activities; coordinates, schedules, supervises all maintenance work; and assists the Chief Pilot in the operation of the flight department. This role also ensures that corporate aircraft are airworthy, Hallmark's maintenance program complies with all applicable regulations, and maintenance activities are communicated to flight department personnel as needed. The Chief of Maintenance will perform maintenance and inspection tasks. The Chief of Maintenance must balance the flight and maintenance schedules, minimizing downtime, and never compromising safety.
WHAT YOU'LL DO - Comply with the overall maintenance program for the flight department ensuring the aircraft is maintained in the highest possible state of air worthiness and cleanliness.
- When the aircraft is at home station, ensure the completion of all servicing and maintenance requirements, trouble shooting and repairs. When the aircraft is away from home station, provide assistance in trouble shooting discrepancies, schedule maintenance work, and expedite parts and deliveries.
- Establish and carry out an approved maintenance inspection program for the aircraft as recommended by the aircraft manufacturer and approved by the FAA.
- Establish and maintain aircraft records in accordance with applicable FAA directives and manufacturer approved maintenance programs.
- Ensure maintenance training and records are in compliance with Company Policies and regulations.
- Maintain a current library of maintenance regulations, manufacturer's inspection program documents, aircraft and engine manuals, and references for accessories, equipment and components.
- Support and participate with the internal SMS safety program.
- Oversee and monitor budget for maintenance area.
- Supervise and monitor the work of all temporary or contract maintenance and aircraft cleaning personnel.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONSThe following are required to be considered for this role:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- At least 10 years' aircraft maintenance experience
- Experience in a COM/DOM (Chief of Maintenance/Director of Maintenance) or Lead role
- A valid, active A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) certification is required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSYour resume will stand out if you have the following:
- Some college education preferred
- IA (Inspection Authorization) certification preferred
- Experience repairing and maintaining Hawker aircraft 900XP-(800) preferred
- Ability to work autonomously with little supervision
ADDITIONAL DETAILS- The salary range for this role is $115,000- $135,000. Final compensation varies based on several factors.
