Your Mission: Lead, Inspire, Transform

Champion Patient-Centered Care (Clinical Leadership - 30%)
  • Deliver trauma-informed, culturally responsive care across all departments
  • Partner with the Chief Nursing Officer to coordinate active treatment services
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and readiness for CMS, Joint Commission, and other accrediting bodies
  • Lead the implementation of Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) practices
  • Oversee systems that ensure continuity of care and clinical effectiveness
  • Provide consultation on complex or high-risk medical cases


Build and Lead High-Performing Teams (Administrative Leadership - 45%)
  • Direct the work of 7 department leaders and oversee over 400 clinical professionals
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, development, and performance management with a focus on equity and inclusion
  • Ensure respectful labor relations and foster interdepartmental collaboration
  • Represent OSH in executive strategy sessions and on policy-setting boards and committees
  • Oversee the implementation and optimization of electronic health records and health IT initiatives


Steward Resources with Vision (Fiscal Leadership - 25%)
  • Manage a $106 million clinical services budget in collaboration with OSH's CFO/COO
  • Monitor financial performance, oversee contracting decisions, and drive efficient resource use
  • Align fiscal strategy with the hospital's mission, values, and clinical priorities

  • Reports To: Superintendent of Oregon State Hospital
  • Direct Reports: 7 clinical department leaders
  • Indirect Supervision: 427 clinical professionals
  • Worksite: Full-time, primarily on-site across Salem and Junction City campuses with limited telework for planning and coordination
