Your Mission: Lead, Inspire, TransformChampion Patient-Centered Care (Clinical Leadership - 30%)- Deliver trauma-informed, culturally responsive care across all departments
- Partner with the Chief Nursing Officer to coordinate active treatment services
- Ensure regulatory compliance and readiness for CMS, Joint Commission, and other accrediting bodies
- Lead the implementation of Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) practices
- Oversee systems that ensure continuity of care and clinical effectiveness
- Provide consultation on complex or high-risk medical cases
Build and Lead High-Performing Teams (Administrative Leadership - 45%)- Direct the work of 7 department leaders and oversee over 400 clinical professionals
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, development, and performance management with a focus on equity and inclusion
- Ensure respectful labor relations and foster interdepartmental collaboration
- Represent OSH in executive strategy sessions and on policy-setting boards and committees
- Oversee the implementation and optimization of electronic health records and health IT initiatives
Steward Resources with Vision (Fiscal Leadership - 25%)- Manage a $106 million clinical services budget in collaboration with OSH's CFO/COO
- Monitor financial performance, oversee contracting decisions, and drive efficient resource use
- Align fiscal strategy with the hospital's mission, values, and clinical priorities
Your Team and Scope- Reports To: Superintendent of Oregon State Hospital
- Direct Reports: 7 clinical department leaders
- Indirect Supervision: 427 clinical professionals
- Worksite: Full-time, primarily on-site across Salem and Junction City campuses with limited telework for planning and coordination
- Environment: Secure psychiatric setting focused on patient-centered safety, collaboration, and inclusion

Required Skills/Abilities, Education & Experience- Licensure as a physician through the Oregon Medical Board
- Completion of a residency program in a related field (U.S. or Canada)
- Board Certified or board eligible in specialty
- Valid DEA Waiver
