Chief Information Officer (CIO)

The Opportunity

Reporting to the President/CEO, the CIO shapes Sentry's technology strategy, elevates day-to-day operations, and leverages modern solutions to drive productivity, efficiency, and competitiveness. You'll partner across engineering, operations, finance, and the full business to align tech investments with results that matter.

Location: Oconomowoc, WI Headquarters

What you'll do
  • Set the vision & lead the way. Define and communicate a business-aligned technology vision, strategy, and multiyear roadmap; lead a high-performing IT team; and advise executives on innovative solutions that fuel growth and great customer experiences. Stay ahead of industry trends to maintain our edge.
  • Digitize and automate. Drive enterprise digital transformation. Identify and implement automation to simplify workflows and boost operational efficiency. Champion Industry 4.0-IoT, AI/ML, and smart factories-where it truly moves the needle.
  • Turn data into decisions. Build a data-driven culture and BI environment that delivers actionable insight. Stand up and mentor a cross-functional analytics community, and partner with external data science experts on large-scale initiatives.
  • Deliver Purpose-built solutions. Oversee software development and product customization with a focus on timely, high-quality delivery, modern coding standards, agile ways of working, and DevOps practices. Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize value, and allocate resources.
  • Protect what matters. Establish and enforce strong information security policies, controls, and incident response in collaboration with internal teams and trusted partners.
  • Maximize value from partners. Evaluate and manage technology vendors, negotiate smart contracts, set service expectations, and monitor performance to ensure cost-effective, high-quality outcomes.
  • Invest thoughtfully. Build and manage the IT budget, balancing capital and operational spend to maximize ROI and keep critical projects on track.
  • Develop people & culture. Mentor and grow IT talent. Set clear goals, coach for performance, and foster a collaborative, curious, high-standards team where people can do their best work.
