CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER-WV PUBLIC BROADCASTING-KANAWHA CO.

Salary is commensurate with experience. This is a Full-Time, Exempt (40 hours/week, M-F) salaried position.
West Virginia Public Broadcasting is looking for individuals to fill the full-time position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The CFO is responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of West Virginia Public Broadcasting including but not limited to budgeting, reporting, and compliance. They will lead the business office team operations in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and ensure strong financial controls. Additionally, they will be responsible for compliance and reporting to the State of West Virginia. The CFO will work with the nonprofits that support West Virginia Public Broadcasting by providing financial information and reports. The CFO will oversee and be responsible for the external audit.

Minimum Qualifications
Required education and experience
• University degree in finance.
• Work experience in state government and/or the nonprofit sector preferred.
Preferred education and experience
• Master's degree, or related experience.
• Previous experience in accounting and finance.
