Compensation: $180,000 - $300,000+ Annually, Depending on Experience + Performance Bonus + Equity Opportunities

Position Summary

Aveniya is seeking a strategic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the company's financial operations and long-term financial strategy. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the CFO will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team and play a critical role in driving sustainable growth, operational efficiency, capital planning, and business expansion.

This remote executive position requires a hands-on leader with expertise in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, budgeting, forecasting, fundraising, financial reporting, and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate has experience supporting high-growth technology, manufacturing, engineering, medical device, or industrial organizations.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Leadership
  • Develop and execute the company's financial strategy in alignment with business objectives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team.
  • Provide financial insights that support strategic planning and growth initiatives.
  • Lead company-wide budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Develop financial models, forecasts, and performance metrics.
  • Monitor key financial indicators and provide recommendations to improve profitability.
  • Analyze business performance and identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimization.
  • Present financial reports and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and stakeholders.
Accounting & Compliance
  • Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable financial regulations.
  • Manage audits, tax planning, and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Maintain strong financial governance and risk management practices.
Capital Management & Fundraising
  • Support capital raising initiatives, investor relations, and financing activities.
  • Evaluate funding opportunities and strategic investment initiatives.
  • Manage banking relationships and financial partnerships.
  • Lead financial due diligence activities related to partnerships, acquisitions, or investments.
Operational & Strategic Support
  • Partner with operations, engineering, supply chain, and business development teams to improve organizational performance.
  • Support commercialization efforts, scaling initiatives, and market expansion strategies.
  • Evaluate financial risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Drive process improvements and financial systems optimization.
Leadership & Team Development
  • Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Establish scalable financial processes that support organizational growth.
  • Promote professional development and succession planning.

Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including senior executive-level responsibility.
  • Strong experience in financial planning, corporate finance, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, engineering, technology, industrial, or medical device organizations.
  • Demonstrated success managing financial operations within high-growth environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of GAAP, financial controls, and regulatory compliance.
  • Exceptional analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
