Qualifications

• 2-3 years of engineering management experience, ideally in a luxury hotel setting.
• High school diploma required; technical degree or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and electrical systems essential.
• Experience with hotel building systems and techniques like soldering and brazing preferred.
• Universal Refrigeration Certification and CPO certification are advantageous.
• Demonstrated leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills necessary.
• Capacity to train and mentor engineering team members effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the hotel's interior, exterior, and building systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Lead the Engineering team in daily operations and maintenance tasks, including urgent situations.
• Manage preventive maintenance schedules and documentation for all hotel systems.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, fire, environmental, and local safety regulations.
• Support capital projects and plan for equipment replacements as needed.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and coordinate with other hotel departments to preserve safety and service quality.
