What You'll Do:- Develop the strategy for the formation of sustaining collaborations with domestic industries including startups, academics, non-profit, government and scientific leaders to advance the mission and vision of the Institute.
- Develop novel deal structures, grants, and other funding opportunities that support the sustainability and/or growth of the Institute.
- Source, screen, make recommendations for enabling partnerships and/or internal capability building to meet the Institute's mission and vision.
- Develop, target, execute and operationalize strategic programs, projects and opportunities.
- Utilize metrics and root cause analysis to enhance effectiveness and continued improvement of the Institute's strategy, programs, and projects.
- Engage with external partners to establish and shape the future through the Institute's strong scientific capabilities.
- Partner with other staff to seamlessly integrate new collaborations and capabilities.
- Raise issues, escalate concerns and propose solutions as appropriate to all the success and sustainability.
- Active member and participant of the leadership team collaborating with other members to ensure regulatory and translational strategies are aligned with WIFRM objectives.
Education Required:- PhD in a scientific discipline
Experience Required:- Ten years of progressive management experience with academia, business development, finances, strategic planning, and government relations.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:- Demonstrated leadership competencies in establishing clear direction and objectives, ability to simplify complex processes and foster a collaborative environment,
