Chef de projets, Affaires réglementaires CMC

Le chef de projets, Affaires réglementaires CMC, est responsable de toutes les exigences relatives aux soumissions de contrôle de la fabrication de produits chimiques du portefeuille de produits auquel il est affecté. Le chef de projets est la personne-ressource concernant les normes gouvernementales auprès des intervenants locaux et du service mondial des Affaires réglementaires. Il collabore efficacement avec les unités chargées des normes cliniques. Il doit collaborer avec les fournisseurs de composants ainsi qu'avec les autres chefs de projets du service des Affaires réglementaires afin d'assurer l'obtention de résultats de qualité, qui sont fiables du premier coup, dans les délais impartis. Le chef de projets peut aussi participer à d'autres activités et projets et diriger des initiatives d'équipe. Le titulaire de ce poste relève directement du Directeur associé, Contrôle de la fabrication de produits chimiques.

Principales responsabilités et activités :
  • Coordonner la planification, la préparation et la transmission de soumissions normatives liées au contrôle de la fabrication de produits chimiques, notamment des demandes de marketing et l'apport de modifications après réception d'approbations
  • S'assurer que toutes les soumissions sont complètes, exactes et conformes à toutes les exigences applicables, et qu'elles sont classées en ordre de priorité et transmises de façon à ce que les activités normatives n'aient aucune incidence sur l'approvisionnement
  • Gérer les soumissions du Contrôle de la fabrication de produits chimiques et en assurer le suivi auprès de Santé Canada jusqu'à la décision normative finale de Santé Canada, notamment en interagissant avec Santé Canada et en servant de personne-ressource principale pour Santé Canada en ce qui con
  • Agir en tant que liaison entre les partenaires normatifs mondiaux et les équipes interfonctionnelles internes
  • Évaluer les demandes de Santé Canada (comme les demandes de renseignements) et les communiquer à la direction locale et mondiale, les traiter de façon prioritaire et y répondre en respectant les échéances

Compétences requises :
  • Diplôme universitaire, un B. Sc. ou un diplôme plus élevé en chimie ou en sciences de la santé ou encore dans un domaine équivalent
  • Expérience intermédiaire en normes gouvernementales ou dans un poste connexe au sein d'une société pharmaceutique ou de biotechnologie
  • Connaissance fonctionnelle des normes, directives et politiques de Santé Canada, incluant une connaissance approfondie des exigences normatives de Santé Canada concernant les soumissions du Contrôle de la fabrication de produits chimiques
  • L'expérience en produits biologiques est un atout
  • Excellentes compétences en gestion de temps et capacité à travailler de façon autonome avec une supervision minimale
  • Compétences interpersonnelles et de communication exceptionnelles (tant à l'écrit qu'à l'oral)

Project Manager, Regulatory Affairs CMC

The Project Manager, Regulatory Affairs CMC, is responsible for all Chemical Manufacturing Control submission requirements for assigned product portfolio. The Project Manager is the regulatory contact with local stakeholders and Global Regulatory Affairs and effectively collaborates with Regulatory Clinical Units. This requires collaborative interaction with component providers and other Regulatory Affairs Project Managers to ensure quality, right first-time output, and timeliness. The Project Manager may also undertake other additional activities including projects and leadership of team initiatives. The position reports to the Associate Director, Chemical Manufacturing Control Unit.

Major Activities and Responsibilities:
  • Coordinating the planning, preparation and submission of global regulatory Chemical Manufacturing Control related submissions, including Marketing Application(s) and post approval changes
  • Ensuring that all submissions are complete, accurate and meet relevant requirements, and that they are prioritized and filed so that there is no regulatory impact on supply
  • Management of Chemical Manufacturing Control submissions and follow up with Health Canada until final Health Canada regulatory decision. This includes interacting with Health Canada and being a primary contact with Health Canada with regards to the submissions
  • Interfacing with global Regulatory partners and internal cross functional teams
  • Health Canada requests (i.e. requests for information) are assessed, communicated to management and Global, managed as a priority and within required timelines
  • Filing and maintenance of Clinical Trial Applications submissions (Chemical Manufacturing Control) with Health Canada and compliance with local and global Standard Operating Procedures


Qualifications:
  • University Degree, B.Sc. or higher in Chemistry or Health Sciences or equivalent
  • Intermediary experience in regulatory affairs or a related function in a pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology company
  • Working Knowledge of Health Canada regulations, guidance and policies, including a high-level understanding of the Health Canada regulatory requirements for Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control submissions
  • Experience with biologics is an asset
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
