The LVDC Product Management Leader is the senior product leader accountable for the global LVDC portfolio strategy, commercial performance, and multi-year technology roadmap in support of Legrand's Data Center growth pillar.

This role sets the direction for LVDC as a strategic growth platform-aligning market evolution (AI compute density, energy efficiency, and new architectures), customer requirements, and investment prioritization. The leader operates as a portfolio business owner within the Legrand Data Center Product Line Owner model, partnering across regions, business units, and Group functions to drive speed, integration, and execution.

Responsibilities

Portfolio Strategy & Business Ownership
  • Own and define the global LVDC portfolio strategy, including product mix, roadmap, pricing architecture, and investment priorities.
  • Act as the business owner for LVDC growth and profitability, owning business cases, lifecycle margin performance, and investment recommendations.
  • Establish multi-year technology and capability roadmaps aligned with AI rack density, energy transition requirements, sustainability/CSR expectations, and regional regulatory needs.
  • Drive the LVDC roadmap to support Group data center priorities including OCP-aligned solutions, high-power distribution, and system-level offers that improve customer deployment speed.
  • Partner with operations and supply chain to ensure resilience for global programs across regions.
  • Support portfolio expansion decisions across organic launches and inorganic growth (build/partner/acquire), driving customer value creation and highly targeted M&A. [DC PLO LVD...v1 (1) (1) | Word]
Market & Customer Leadership
  • Serve as the senior market authority for LVDC architectures, engaging directly with customer and strategic alliance partners.
  • Translate customer requirements into platform and system strategies, ensuring alignment across businesses and regions.

Product Lifecycle Governance & Innovation
  • Approve endtoend lifecycle governance across all LVDC offers, including launch readiness, scaling, profitability tracking, standardization, and endoflife decisions.
  • Establish disciplined product governance: portfolio reviews, KPI dashboards, roadmap trade-offs, launch readiness, and end-of-life decisions, with clear escalation paths and decision rights.
  • Champion innovation in DC architectures, modular systems, deployability, efficiency and sustainability improvements at scale.
  • Partner with R&D/Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Strategy to translate roadmap intent into executable programs.
  • Influence leadership on investment decisions, capacity planning, and growth priorities, balancing speed to market with risk, compliance, and profitability.
  • Drive alignment across regions to ensure global consistency with local market adaptability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Energy Systems, or related technical field (Master's degree or MBA strongly preferred).
  • 10-15+ years of progressive experience in product management, product leadership, or technical business leadership.
  • Demonstrated success owning mission-critical infrastructure portfolios with global reach (data center power distribution, critical power, electrification, industrial power systems).
  • Strong understanding of power distribution architectures, LV/MV systems, DC power concepts, and energy efficiency frameworks.
  • Proven ability to influence at the executive level, manage ambiguity, and lead through scale and transformation.
