Titre du poste : Chef d'équipe d'acheteurs (NPI)

En plus des activités de Spécialiste de compte fournisseur, le Chef d'équipe agira à titre de bras droit du gestionnaire de l'approvisionnement dans l'ensemble de ses activités.

Ainsi, le Chef d'équipe partagera les responsabilités de superviser la performance des fournisseurs et la livraison en qualité et en temps de leurs pièces. Aussi, le Chef d'équipe contribuera à gérer les activités de développement des fournisseurs sur leurs sites. Il soutiendra l'organisation de l'approvisionnement stratégique dans l'identification et la sélection des fournisseurs et des partenariats stratégiques. Aussi, il travaillera en partenariat avec la fonction Qualité des fournisseurs pour gérer et résoudre les non-conformités de production.

Finalement, le chef d'équipe entreprendra d'identifier les besoins d'apprentissage de l'équipe, coachera ses collègues et travaillera de concert avec la fonction Développement de la main d'œuvre pour trouver des solutions d'apprentissage adéquates.

Le Chef d'équipe aura la responsabilité de gérer le coût global, la qualité et les performances de livraison des pièces par les fournisseurs. Il identifiera et exécutera des projets à long terme pour obtenir des résultats de performance durables.

Le poste s'effectue à notre établissement de Longueuildu lundi au vendredi et exclusivement en présentiel.

À quoi ressemblera votre quotidien?
  • Superviser et gérer l'exécution des contrats des fournisseurs (y compris les actions visant à corriger les performances non conformes)
  • Développer des partenariats solides avec les fournisseurs et prendre des mesures proactives pour travailler avec d'autres groupes P&WC (ex.: Qualité, Ingénierie) pour gérer/réduire le coût du matériel acheté
  • Exécuter la stratégie de gestion des relations avec les fournisseurs
  • Gérer la capacité du fournisseur à rencontrer les exigences de livraison, y compris l'exécution d'actions correctives. Agir en tant que point d'escalade pour les problèmes de fournisseurs et accélérer directement auprès des fournisseurs pour résoudre les lacunes et assurer la mise en place d'actions correctives.
  • Identifier les besoins de développement de compétences de l'équipe
  • Offrir directement du coaching à la tâche et/ou collaborer avec l'équipe Développement de la main d'œuvre pour développer des stratégies d'apprentissage
  • Agir à titre de point de contact de l'équipe pour la direction et la fonction Intergrated Materiel Flow (IMF)
  • Supporter et/ou gérer le plan commercial avec l'équipe Strategic Sourcing.

Ce poste s'inscrit dans un milieu de travail francophone, néanmoins il nécessite une très bonne connaissance de l'anglais pour lire et comprendre, sur une base quotidienne, de la documentation et des termes techniques qui peuvent émaner d'organisations internationales, ainsi que pour écrire et communiquer en anglais avec des clients, des fournisseurs ou des collègues internationaux.

Job title : New Product Introduction Team lead

What will your day-to-day look like?
  • Oversee and manage supplier contract performance (including actions to correct non-compliant performance)
  • Develop strong vendor partnerships and take proactive measures to work with other P&WC groups (e.g. Quality, Engineering) to manage/reduce the cost of purchased materials
  • Execute supplier relationship management strategy
  • Manage supplier's ability to meet delivery requirements, including execution of corrective actions. Act as an escalation point for supplier issues and expedite directly with suppliers to resolve deficiencies and ensure corrective actions implementation
  • Identify skill development needs of the team
  • Provide direct on-the-job coaching and/or collaborate with the Workforce Capability Development team to develop learning strategies
  • Act as the team's point of contact for management and Integrated Material Flow function (IMF)
  • Support and/or manage the business plan with the Strategic Sourcing team.

This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
