Position Summary

The Channel Development Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for leading and executing digital marketing strategies that expand the digital presence of the company-owned dealership network (including Arrow Truck Sales, TransEastern, and TransWestern) generate qualified leads, and enhance customer engagement across North America.

This is a functional manager role and does not include direct reports. This role serves as a key connector between marketing, sales, operations, dealership leadership, and external vendors, ensuring marketing initiatives are aligned with business objectives while supporting the unique needs of each brand. The position focuses heavily on digital performance, lead management, customer experience, and continuous improvement across all marketing channels to support sales growth, inventory velocity, and brand visibility.

What you will do

Key Responsibilities

Digital Marketing & Strategy
  • Develop, implement, and continuously optimize the digital marketing strategy to drive measurable growth in traffic, engagement, and qualified leads.
  • Own performance across digital channels for all company-owned dealerships, including:
    • External websites and portals
    • Social media platforms
    • Program and campaign communications
  • Drive traffic, engagement, and lead generation through targeted digital initiatives
  • Track conversion rates and optimize campaigns, content, and user experience


Website & Digital Presence Management
  • Own and maintain the digital presence for all company-owned dealership websites (as needed) and digital properties, ensuring:
    • Up-to-date messaging and content
    • Strong user experience and functionality
    • Consistent branding while supporting the unique positioning of each dealership
  • Monitor website analytics and performance metrics with a focus on:
    • Lead generation and quality
    • Customer acquisition
    • Conversion rate optimization
  • Identify and implement improvements that enhance the digital customer journey


Lead Management & Data Optimization
  • Track and manage incoming leads across all marketing channels and company-owned dealerships
  • Analyze lead sources, campaign effectiveness, and dealership performance to improve ROI and lead quality
  • Own the intake, tracking, and performance of marketing-generated leads across all channels
  • Partner with sales and leadership team to improve lead handling, response time, and conversion rates


Social Media & Brand Engagement
  • Manage content planning, publishing, and performance tracking across platforms
  • Optimize paid and organic efforts to improve ROI and audience growth
  • Ensure consistent brand standards while supporting the unique voice and market positioning of Arrow Truck Sales, TransEastern, and TransWestern


Vendor & Budget Management
  • Coordinate marketing initiatives across multiple dealership brands to maximize efficiency and return on investment
  • Oversee vendor performance, deliverables, and alignment with business goals
  • Support budget management, ensuring efficient budget allocation and measurable return on investment


Market Analysis & Strategic Insights
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and trend identification to inform strategy
  • Develop data-driven strategies, communication plans, and marketing materials
  • Support global marketing initiatives to increase visibility and channel performance
  • Identify opportunities to share best practices and successful marketing initiatives across the company-owned dealership network


Customer Experience & KPI Development
  • Analyze customer feedback, survey data, and engagement metrics
  • Define and implement customer experience KPIs across the customer journey
  • Develop reporting that compares digital marketing performance across company-owned dealerships and identifies opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Partner cross-functionally to improve customer experience, retention, and repeat business

At the Volvo Group, we strive for a clear, transparent, and straightforward compensation approach, motivating you to contribute to the company's growth. For this position, the base pay is set at $96,000 -$118,500 annually, and where applicable, bonus eligible. The range for this role, as well as final salary offered, is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, work-related knowledge, certifications, skills, education, and experience. In addition to these factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
