Overview

CVP is seeking aChange Management Specialistto provide comprehensive change management support on a critical VA transformation initiative. The ideal candidate will combine strong change management expertise with communications proficiency to support stakeholder engagement, change agent network facilitation, readiness assessment, and organizational transition activities. This role is central to driving adoption and managing organizational transformation across VA as the organization navigates significant change in service of our nation's veterans.

The Change Management Specialist applies multidisciplinary change management knowledge and skills to support VA client leadership and stakeholders across multiple workstreams. They will develop and execute change management strategies, manage stakeholder engagement, assess organizational readiness, and create actionable deliverables that drive successful implementation. They will work collaboratively with VA to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of change management activities that enable measurable outcomes and sustained adoption.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm for improving veteran healthcare services through strategic change management and stakeholder engagement, coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute change management plans and strategies aligned with RISE transformation priorities and organizational objectives
  • Manage and coordinate incoming questions and responses through the RISE Resource Room, ensuring timely, accurate, and consistent stakeholder communications
  • Review and edit Resource Room responses to ensure alignment with change management messaging and organizational priorities
  • Manage and facilitate bi-weekly RISE Change Agent Network (CAN) sessions, including logistics, participant engagement, and content delivery
  • Develop change management content and communication materials for CAN session decks that effectively communicate transformation progress, priorities, and impact
  • Conduct change management assessments and readiness evaluations to identify anticipated resistance and organizational barriers to adoption
  • Collect, review, organize, and analyze feedback from CAN sessions and other stakeholder engagement channels to inform strategy adjustments
  • Develop and track feedback mechanisms to capture stakeholder input and monitor change progress
  • Conduct crosswalk of current change agent membership against the new organizational structure to ensure alignment and engagement
  • Develop taskers and notifications to support change agent roles and keep stakeholders informed throughout the transformation
  • Create actionable deliverables including communication plans, coaching guidance, and resistance management strategies
  • Schedule and coordinate road show activities, managing logistics and targeted stakeholder outreach
  • Develop road show deck content and messaging tailored to specific audiences to drive awareness and adoption
  • Track, monitor, and report on change management metrics, progress, and outcomes to leadership
  • Support senior leader engagement and readiness activities
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • 6+ years of experience in change management, organizational development, or related field
  • Prosci ADKAR certification or equivalent advanced change management certification
  • Experience supporting VA or VHA transformation initiatives
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing change management plans, assessments, and strategies
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholders and support organizational change initiatives in a complex environment
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills with proven ability to develop clear, compelling content for diverse audiences
  • Experience facilitating stakeholder engagement sessions, change agent networks, or working groups
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to obtain or maintain a US Public Trust clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing change in a union environment
  • Familiarity with change agent network models and stakeholder engagement frameworks
  • Experience with feedback management and change metrics tracking
  • Experience developing executive-level presentations and strategic communications materials
