What You Will Do:

As a Managing Consultant within the Guidehouse Health segment, you will be responsible for executing organizational change management capabilities including the development and adoption of communications strategy, establishing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment with program objectives, and developing and dissemination training and educational materials. The candidate should have experience supporting federal clients, such as CMS, and industry experience helping clients solve their complex business problems. You will contribute to task order proposal response efforts and be expected to contribute to the growth of our existing portfolio. We are looking for someone with a passion for creative problem-solving and client service.

This role will be part-time (initially 20 hours a week) as we are ramping up this project, eventually moving into full time (40 hours a week) within 2-4 months of starting.

Position Description/Responsibilities:
  • Build change management plans that are aligned to overall program plans and are designed to guide audiences through the change phases, including all sponsor/manager, training, communications, and support activities required to successfully implement the change
  • Design and deliver communication to inform the organization of the OCM program and upcoming organizational change
  • Contributes to the development of training and educational materials targeted towards various different stakeholders impacted by the change.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to track progress on initiatives and workstreams
  • Communicating in an organized and knowledgeable manner in written and verbal formats including delivering clear requests for information and completing review documentation


What You Will Need:
  • Bachelors (required)
  • 5+ years of relevant industry, research, or consulting experience, excluding internships, co-ops, fellowships, and academic research
  • Experience directly supporting public health-focused federal agencies or health systems
  • Experience working with CMS clients
  • Ability to work on interdisciplinary teams in a highly matrixed environment
  • Demonstrated ability and success with identifying and addressing client needs: actively participating in client discussions and meetings; communicating a broad range of firm services; preparing concise, accurate documents
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to present to executive leadership
  • Ability to obtain a Public trust Clearance (US Citizenship required)


What Would Be Nice To Have:
  • Master's degree in health policy, health economics, health services research, epidemiology, public health, or health/policy related fields
  • Strong understanding of value-based care payment models
  • Direct experience with CMMI Alternative Payment Models
  • Healthcare quality measurement experience
