Job DescriptionAtlantic Health is Seeking a Medical Director of Psychiatry at CentraState Medical CenterAtlantic Health System, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking a board-certified Psychiatrist to serve as Medical Director of Psychiatry at CentraState Medical Center in Freehold, NJ.
This full-time position will oversee a 19-bed adult inpatient unit that includes both voluntary and involuntary patients. The unit serves individuals 18 and older, including those with co-occurring substance use disorders, special needs, and autism spectrum disorder. In addition to inpatient care, responsibilities include consult & liaison psychiatry, crisis intervention, and addiction psychiatry. Interest or experience in electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) is highly preferred.
The Medical Director will provide leadership to advance CentraState's mission and strategic priorities, including planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of quality improvement initiatives, as well as coordinating scheduling for behavioral health clinicians.
Freehold is a well-established Monmouth County community with strong schools, diverse amenities, and easy access to the Jersey Shore, New York City, and Philadelphia.
Salary Range: $325,000-$375,000 base salary only; excludes any quality and/or productivity incentives

QualificationsQualifications- BE/BC in Psychiatry
- 3-5 years of experience of experience preferred
- 2-3 years of proven leadership experience required
- ECT experience preferred
