Overview:
Prime Healthcare is actively seeking a dedicated Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join our growing women's health team at St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, IL. This is a unique opportunity to serve a diverse community with a collaborative team of OB/GYNs, midwives, and support staff in a supportive, patient-focused environment.
Responsibilities
• Provide full-scope midwifery care to low-risk obstetric and gynecologic patients
• Manage prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care
• Participate in hospital deliveries and rounds
• Educate and counsel patients on family planning, wellness, and preventative care
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care
Qualifications
• Current Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) license in the State of Illinois
• Master's degree from an accredited nurse-midwifery program
• Minimum 1 year of midwifery experience preferred, but strong new graduates encouraged to apply
• BLS and NRP certification required

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $100,000-$115,000 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
