Responsibilities Responsibilities Include:
- All aspects of radiation oncology physics, including quality assurance and external beam clinical support.
- Oversight of a busy stereotactic program, including treatment planning for intracranial SRS cases.
- Collaboration and cross coverage with nearby Texas Oncology clinics, which may include HDR duties.
- RSO duties and maintenance of X-ray registration, as well as maintaining compliance with all Texas Oncology guidelines and Texas DSHS regulations.
- Maintenance of ABR board certification and Texas licensure.
Qualifications QualificationsThe successful candidate will have the following minimum qualifications:- Master's or PhD degree in Medical physics from a CAMPEP accredited program
- Graduate from a CAMPEP accredited residency program
- ABR board certification or in the process of obtaining certification (e.g. new resident graduate)
- Eligibility for a Texas license
- Strong organization and oral\written communication skills

Must be able to stand for 8 hours; lift 40 pound block to shoulder level; have sufficient visual acuity to distinguish structures and isodose displays on computer monitor. Additionally, must be able to align treatment field and monitor patient during radiation therapy treatment.
