Who We Are Looking For

We're searching for a highly driven, detail-oriented, and experienced construction leader who possesses the entrepreneurial spirit to lead and significantly grow this custom build and general contracting business. This role requires a hands-on approach to strategic planning, project management, operational execution, and team coordination.

Essential Qualifications

• Industry Leadership: 10+ years of comprehensive experience in the construction industry, with a proven track record of managing and delivering a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, or specialized builds like pole barns and barndominiums.
• Operational Excellence: Deep understanding and hands-on experience with all aspects of general contracting, including project bidding, scheduling, budget management, subcontractor coordination, and quality assurance across diverse project types.
• Business Development Acumen: Demonstrated success in client communication, securing new projects (custom homes, commercial, specialty builds), contract negotiation, and a strong ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
• Team Leadership: Proven experience in leading and motivating construction teams and effectively managing relationships with subcontractors, fostering a productive work environment, and ensuring project success.
• Financial & Business Management: Significant experience in small business management, including budgeting, financial analysis, P&L responsibility, and strategic planning to maximize profitability within a construction context.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of various construction methods, materials, building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices relevant to residential and commercial construction.
• Regulatory Understanding: A solid understanding of local building codes, safety regulations (OSHA), and permitting processes relevant to construction in Oklahoma.
• Licensing: Possess or be able to obtain a General Contractor's license.
