Job Description:

Purpose of Job: Improves the overall health of the communities we serve by leading the development and optimization of centralized operational processes including staff scheduling as follows:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Effectively communicates with all levels in the organization utilizing verbal, written, and active listening skills.
  • Provides leadership to assigned staff, including, hiring, onboarding, training, and professional development and clearly articulating expectations, goals, and feedback.
  • Manages Staffing Coordinators, Float/Locum clinical employees and OSS functionality, providing support to the clinic administrators.
  • Models and ensures patient-centered care is delivered by all team members.
  • Works in collaboration with Clinic Administrators, Directors of Operations and VP of Operations to ensure adequate staffing, patient access, and operations of CHAS Health clinics.
  • Responsible for operational efficiency for staffing coordination, float and locum teams, which includes process improvements, resource management, workflow management, and ensuring department goals are achieved.
  • Maintains a safe and respectful environment and supports organizational goals related to patient and employee satisfaction.
  • Completes regular float and locum staffing analysis for all CHAS Health clinics ensuring quality customer service and consistent access for patients.
  • Manages team budget to ensure financial viability.
  • Performs other duties as assigned, including supporting the CHAS Health Mission and Core Values.


Qualifications:

Education/Experience: Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience required. Prior experience in a community health setting preferred. Bachelor's degree in business or healthcare administration, or equivalent experience, preferred.

Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills required. Strong written and verbal communication skills required. Computer proficiency required. Excellent organization and follow-up skills required. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality required. Ability to work under tight time constraints and handle high pressure and changing priorities required. Ability to work proactively and collaboratively with people at all levels of the organization required. Valid drivers' license, insurance, and vehicle required. Commitment to supporting a safe and respectful environment required.

Physical Demands:

Must talk, hear, and sit more than two-thirds of the day. Using hands occurs over two-thirds of the day, while reaching with arms occurs less than one-third of the day. Communicating is required over two-thirds of the day, while climbing, stooping, or crawling is minimal. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
