OverviewThe CCBHC Operations Director will work in close partnership with the clinically focused CCBHC Service Director to oversee all operational aspects of the clinic. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for:
- Financial Oversight: Leading program financing, including budget development, fiscal monitoring, and collaboration with internal departments on shared resources.
- Facilities & Safety: Managing safety and security initiatives, implementing workplace procedures and protocols, and ensuring the physical plant and grounds meet agency standards.
- Operational Improvement: Identifying opportunities for improvement, developing and implementing initiatives, creating supporting documentation, educating staff, and monitoring outcomes.

- Strong knowledge of healthcare compliance, regulatory requirements, and billing practices.
- A track record of successfully turning concepts into actionable, results-driven initiatives.
- The ability to work effectively across departments including Human Resources, Finance, and Facilities.
This is a salaried position with a salary range of $115,000- $128,000/annual

Working Relationships:
- The CCBHC Operations Director takes direction from the Sr. Regional Vice President and keeps them informed of program utilization, practice and program development, staffing, facility, regulatory compliance and budgetary issues.
- Supervises the CCBHC Service Director and/or delegates supervision of staff, volunteers and/or student interns.
- Member of the Helio Health Extended Leadership team and works collaboratively with program leadership within the facility.
- Works collaboratively with Operational Support Departments
- Develops and maintains relationships with funding, regulatory and community partners.
Responsibilities
- Oversight of program financing, including budgeting development and management, ongoing financial monitoring and collaboration with other agency departments.
- Oversight of clinic productivity, ensure performance aligns with budgetary goals and expectations.
- Work collaboratively with providers, staff and leadership to support achievement of operational and strategic clinic objectives.
- Ensures high-quality, person-centered care and compliance with healthcare laws and regulations.
- Leads building-wide safety and security initiatives
- Ensures physical plant and external grounds are maintained in accordance with agency standards
- Recommend and implement effective workplace procedures and protocols to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensuring excellent customer service and service recipients' satisfaction by resolving any complaints and issues that arise
- Participate in organization and community committees as assigned
- Maintains accurate and timely documentation in accordance with agency and regulatory requirements.
- Represents program to the community
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of experience in a leadership position with responsibilities in financial and operations management, cross-functional collaboration, quality control and program design and development.
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, business administration or related field required. Master’s degree preferred. Other degrees, including human services, accepted with sufficient employment experience.
- An equivalent combination of training and experience may be substituted for the educational requirements.
- Valid NYS Driver License.
