Caterpillar Safety Services works with teams across Caterpillar, Cat® dealers and customers worldwide to strengthen safety performance. We’re seeking a dynamic  Marketing Consultant in Peoria, Illinois to promote our solutions globally. In this role, you’ll develop and execute integrated marketing plans that drive business growth for Caterpillar Safety Services. 

 

What You’ll Do:

 

  • Develop and execute an annual marketing plan aligned to business goals and customer growth priorities. 

  • Manage editorial calendars and content development across marketing channels including email, social media and various digital content platforms.  

  • Lead dealer engagement programs and create marketing toolkits to generate customer interest and strengthen local market presence. 

  • Support business growth in Europe, Africa and Middle East (EAME) by adapting marketing programs to region needs and collaborating with global stakeholders. 

  • Partner with sales team to support lead management, customer nurturing activities, industry events, conferences, webinars and sales enablement activities. 

  • Demonstrate and promote the values of safety, integrity, teamwork, excellence and commitment through both customer-facing, dealer and internal interactions.

Customer Focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that place customer needs and satisfaction at the center of business decisions; ability to leverage customer insights to develop tailored solutions that address unique customer requirements.

Creativity: Knowledge of methods, tools, and techniques that encourage innovative thinking; ability to generate and apply original ideas to solve business challenges and improve outcomes.

Effective Communications: Understanding of communication principles, tools, and techniques; ability to clearly convey, receive, and accurately interpret information through appropriate verbal, written, and interpersonal communication.

Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management practices; ability to build, develop, and maintain productive working relationships with customers, vendors, and colleagues.

Vendor/Supplier Management: Knowledge of external provider management processes; ability to effectively manage relationships, performance, and budgets associated with vendors, contractors, consultants, service providers, and suppliers.

 

What Will Set You Apart:

 

·         3+ years in a full-time marketing, communications or sales role preferred. 

·         Project management or ability to manage multiple projects at once. 

·         Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools. 

·         Strong communication skills with the ability to influence. 

·         Experience in relevant industry, with knowledge of issues, opportunities and challenges customers face regarding safety or operations.

 

Additional Information:

 

This position may require occasional travel (2 or 3 trips per year).

Primary location of this position is Peoria, IL, with a requirement to work on site full time at a Caterpillar facility.

Domestic Relocation is not available.

Summary Pay Range:

$97,530.00 - $146,290.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
