Catering Sales ManagerWhat You'll DoAs our Catering Sales Manager, you'll drive catering sales from initial inquiry through flawless execution, serving as a trusted partner for every client.
Your Responsibilities Include:- Prospect, negotiate, and secure new and repeat catering business through networking, community engagement, outside sales, referrals, and relationship-building.
- Maximize banquet space utilization while achieving and exceeding catering revenue goals.
- Guide clients through every step of the planning process, including menus, room layouts, timelines, décor, audiovisual needs, and event logistics.
- Prepare contracts, Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), and all event documentation with exceptional attention to detail.
- Partner closely with Culinary, Banquets, and Operations teams to ensure seamless event execution.
- Respond to catering inquiries and online leads within 24 hours.
- Conduct hotel tours and site visits, creating memorable first impressions for prospective clients.
- Review event invoices for accuracy before final billing.
- Maintain accurate event information within CI/TY and hotel systems.
- Manage the banquet department's Google Calendar and event schedule.
- Prepare sales reports and provide business updates during department meetings.
- Resolve guest concerns quickly, professionally, and with genuine care.
- Stay informed on industry trends, local competition, and market opportunities to continually strengthen sales strategies.
- Support additional projects and initiatives as directed by the Director of Events.
What You BringWe're looking for someone who naturally builds relationships and is passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences.
Qualifications- Minimum of 3 years of hospitality, catering, or event sales experience, preferably in an upscale or luxury hotel environment.
- Proven success in sales, negotiation, and client relationship management.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
- Exceptional organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple events and priorities while maintaining a calm, positive attitude.
- Strong customer service mindset with warmth, empathy, and professionalism.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Experience with CI/TY is strongly preferred.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands.

Total RewardsThe base salary range for this role, $75,000-$90,000 isaligned with your experience, leadership scope, and the impact you bring to the business.
