Job Description
We are seeking a Vendor Program Consultant to join our Casualty Claims Vendor Management team. This role serves as a subject matter expert for vendor management processes and is responsible for overseeing vendor performance, operational effectiveness, and customer experience outcomes.
As a key member of a growing and highly visible team, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders, external vendor partners, procurement teams and business leaders to support the ongoing expansion and optimization of our casualty vendor program. This position offers an excellent opportunity to build industry relationships and influence strategic decisions and develop leadership capabilities within a rapidly evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the business lead and subject matter expert for vendor management processes within Casualty Claims Operations.
  • Monitor and oversee vendor performance to ensure service level agreements, customer experience standards, and operational expectations are consistently achieved.
  • Develop, maintain, and report on vendor performance metrics, scorecards, and operational results.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external vendors and internal business partners.
  • Lead and manage change management initiatives across multiple operational areas, including vendor onboarding and offshore engagement activities.
  • Partner with vendors on workforce planning and resource management to support demand forecasts and maximize operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate vendor audits, reviews, and compliance activities to ensure adherence to contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, and operational standards.
  • Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while balancing day-to-day operational priorities.
  • Review and address internal and external escalations related to vendor performance and service delivery.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with vendor partners to identify successes, address challenges, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to optimize vendor value and operational effectiveness.
  • Identify opportunities for vendor program expansion and recommend innovative solutions that support business objectives.


Qualifications
  • Experience in vendor management, operations, claims or a related business function.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and vendor governance practices.
  • Accident Benefits and or Bodily Injury insurance industry experience, particularly within Claims Operations.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and monitoring operational performance metrics.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and working with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience presenting business results and recommendations to leadership teams.
  • Ability to analyze operational data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
  • Experience with resource planning, forecasting, and performance management
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-management abilities.
  • Experience using Guidewire ClaimCenter or similar claims platforms.
  • CIP or working towards CIP, ACIP, CRM or FCIP designation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience will be considered.

Compensation
Expected compensation for this role ranges from $ 73,500.00 - 116,850.00 annually. Actual salary offered to successful candidates will vary based on their skills and experience.
