JOB LOCATION: Cities of Gold Casino

REPORTS TO: COO & CEO

DEPARTMENT: Administration

FLSA STATUS: Exempt

TYPICAL WORK SCHEDULE (DAYS/HRS PER WEEK): TBD
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Directs and oversees all casino operations to achieve financial goals while maintaining exceptional guest service, regulatory compliance, and employee engagement. Leads operational departments in creating new business verticals and streamlining existing casino operations. Creates a positive work environment that liberates and champions guest-driven employees and leads from the front in guest recognition and appreciation.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Under the direction of the COO and CEO, responsible for the control of all casino business activities as follows:
  • Direct daily operations of all casino departments.
  • Develop and execute strategic business plans and annual budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with gaming regulations, internal controls, and company policies.
  • Monitor financial performance, revenue, labor costs, and profitability.
  • Recruit, develop, coach, and evaluate department managers and staff.
  • Ensure outstanding guest service and resolve escalated customer concerns.
  • Coordinate marketing, promotions, entertainment, and player development initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with tribal leadership, gaming commissions, and regulatory agencies.
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and inclusive workplace.
  • Analyze operational metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist qualified Pueblo of Pojoaque Tribal members in employment opportunities with the Pueblo of Pojoaque Businesses by hiring, coaching and supporting their career growth

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES):
  • Strong knowledge of casino operations, gaming regulations, and financial management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all required gaming licenses and background clearances.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older

REQUIRED EDUCATION OR COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Casino Management, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 8-10+ years of progressive casino management experience. Additional experience ma be considered in lieu of educational requirement.
  • 5+ years in a senior leadership or General Manager role.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Standing-10% /Walking-60% /Sitting-30%; Casino/office setting.
  • Exposure to cigarette smoke and noise
  • Availability to work weekends, holidays, and special events.
  • On 24-hour emergency call.
  • Some travel required
