ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Close Air Support/Air Intelligence Team Leader (five-person team) responsible for leading and supervising a highly skilled team of two Close Air Support SMEs and two Air Intelligence SMEs.
- Responsible for multiservice air integration into JRTC scenarios.
- Participates in rotational planning meetings to integrate CAS in JRTC rotations.
- Responsible for replicating the functions of a USAF Air Operation Center (AOC) including the production of ATOs, ACOs and SPINS and processing pre-planned CAS requests.
- Tracks execution of CAS missions and writes mission analyses of those missions.
- Participates in rotational planning meetings, conducts briefings as required, and assists the Air Force in constructing After Action Reviews (AARs).
- Air Intelligence cell produces DISUMs, INTREPs, ELINTREPS, and enemy Order of Battle daily updates as necessary and distributes them to exercise players.
- Other duties as assigned.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: - Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level clearance. Active Secret preferred.
- Must submit to and pass pre-employment drug screening; will be subject to random drug screening.
EDUCATION REQRUIEMENT: BS/BA Degree from an accredited college or university.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:- Experience as a staff officer/NCO in a numbered Air Force or higher headquarters.
- Experience working in an Air Operations Center or equivalent.
- Able to travel unaccompanied to continental US and foreign locations.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:- Experience as an aircrew member in the employment of Close Air Support.
- Completion of Air Command and Staff College or equivalent.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Physical requirements may include, but are not limited to, lifting, ascending, and descending stairs, climbing, extended sitting or standing, to various degrees.
