Job DescriptionCardiovascular Technologist - Cath Lab at Providence Saint John's Health Center in Santa Monica, CA. This position is Full Time and will work 12-hour, Day shifts.
Under the supervision of the Cath Lab Manager, Cardiologist, Electrophysiologist, Vasular surgeon and Radiologist, operates systems which include cardiovascular, peripheral, endovascular and neurological. Performs all phases of cardiac, peripheral, vascular and neuro-interventional to patients in the Cardiac Cath Lab in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the values and mission of the organization.
Required Qualifications:- Coursework/Training: EKG technical training.
- Coursework/Training: Sufficient for Registry Credentials
- upon hire: National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International, or
- upon hire: National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography, or
- upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Cardiac-Interventional Radiography, or
- upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography
- upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 1 year patient contact in hospital setting.
- 6 months direct patient care.
- Note: If preferred training/experience is not in place upon hire, 6-month OTJ training applies.
Preferred Qualifications:- Coursework/Training: Neuro Interventional training.
- Hospital experience.
- 6 months Interventional Radiology.
- 6 months electrophysiology Studies.
- 6 months Neurological interventional procedures.
