Qualifications

• Board-certified and licensed Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant/Associate required.
• National Provider Identifier (NPI) required before starting employment.
• Current DEA Registration necessary for all relevant schedules and state prescribing authority.
• Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) mandatory; ABLS certification needed within one year.
• Preferred: At least one year of experience in a cardiovascular critical care environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to acutely ill and medically complex patients in the Cardiovascular ICU.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for patient management and interventions.
• Monitor and assess patients' health status and responses to treatments.
• Conduct and interpret diagnostic tests and evaluations.
• Educate patients and families on management of conditions and care plans.
