Job Summary and Responsibilities Virginia Mason Franciscan Health (VMFH) is seeking a talented Cardiac Surgeon to join our team at Franciscan Cardiothoracic Surgery associates at St. Michael in Silverdale, WA. The Section of Cardiac Surgery at offers expertise with some of the most advanced treatment options for cardiac conditions, with the lowest risk of mortality.
The Center for Cardiovascular Health comprises over 180 providers in all cardiovascular specialties (Cardiology, Advanced HF, Electrophysiology, Interventional and Structural cardiology, Cardiac Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, Vascular Surgery and Cardiac Anesthesiology). We are one of the largest providers of cardiac services in Western Washington. We have three tertiary care sites with comprehensive cardiovascular services and perform over 1200 cardiac surgeries and 500 structural cases annually.
Job Requirements- MD/DO with completion of an ACGME- accredited cardiothoracic surgery fellowship.
- Minimum of 2 years-experience in adult cardiothoracic surgery highly preferred
- New graduates with additional training will be considered.
- Board certified or eligible by American Board of Thoracic Surgeons
