The cardiology nurse practitioner serves as a health-care provider who specializes suspected or known heart diseases. Your job as a nurse practitioner includes outpatient and telehealth visits. You will provide curbside consultations, coordinate pacemaker and defibrillator monitoring, and administer IV medications. You will oversee stress testing and deliver educational presentations to patients and providers. This is a rare opportunity that allows for work-life balance within the field of cardiology, with working hours M-F, and no hospital call or weekend requirements. and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial. You will report to the cardiologist. This job is onsite, 8-5.
Use your skills to make an impact Required Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted APRN license or willing to obtain a medical licenses in state of practice;
- Graduate of accredited APRN program of an accredited university
- You will demonstrate a high level of skill with interpersonal relationships and communications with colleagues/patients
- You will need to know how to use email and EMR
- At least one year of experience working as a cardiovascular nurse practitioner.
- You will have experience with pacemaker/ICD monitoring
- You will place IVs and administer IV medications
- This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana/Senior Bridge's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications- You will be an associate of the ACC (AACC credential)
- You will have experience with dobutamine pump
- You will have experience in electrophysiology
- You will have experience managing a Medicare Advantage panel of patients with understanding of best practice in coordinated care environment
- You will have knowledge of Medicare guidelines and coverage
- You will have knowledge of HEDIS quality indicators

$123,800 - $170,300 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
