Full Job Description
The Position

Cardiovascular Associates of Marin (CAM), the premier heart team serving the North Bay is seeking a high-caliber Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join our elite team. This is a rare opportunity to join a 22-physician group during an exciting period of strategic growth. We are seeking a specialist who thrives in a high-volume, procedurally complex environment and is looking for a definitive path to partnership in one of the most desirable locations in the United States.

The Clinical & Research Edge
  • World-Class Mentorship: Join a team led by a senior EP with mastery across the entire procedural spectrum. This role offers unparalleled mentorship in epicardial VT, complex laser lead extraction, and advanced ablation techniques-ideal for an ambitious physician looking to join operators with some of the finest procedural hands in the field.
  • Advanced Procedures: Robust volume in Atrial Fibrillation ablation and Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion (LAAO). While proficiency in LAAO is preferred, we are prepared to provide training and certification.
  • Cutting-Edge Research: CAM maintains a sophisticated research footprint, recruiting for IDE and IIS clinical trials. You will have the opportunity to participate in investigation-level protocols and utilize the latest in device innovation.
  • Dedicated Infrastructure: Benefit from a specialized EP support team (inpatient and outpatient) and a high-efficiency workflow with 1.5 to 2 days per week dedicated to the lab.

Position & Practice Structure
  • Specialized Focus: Unlike traditional blended roles, this position is designed for a dedicated EP focus.
  • Quality of Life Call: Sustainable, EP-only call rotation (estimated 1:2 or 1:3). No General Cardiology weekend/night call required.
  • Partnership Track: A transparent 2 to 3-year track to full partnership within a physician-owned group.
  • Sophisticated Technology: Full integration with EPIC EHR and state-of-the-art lab facilities at MarinHealth Medical Center.
The Position Requirements
  • M.D. and Fellowship training in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
  • Board Eligible or Certified (ABIM).
  • Demonstrated proficiency in AFib ablation; interest in clinical research and advanced VT is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to evidence-based, patient-first care.
  • New grads encouraged to apply.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Guaranteed Security: A highly competitive base salary of $500K - $600K (commensurate with experience) guaranteed for the first 2 years with additional productivity-based incentives.
  • Elite Earning Potential: Beyond the base, physicians benefit from a productivity-based incentive model. Upon partnership, compensation transitions to a sophisticated model that rewards clinical excellence and practice ownership, resulting in top-tier compensation for the Bay Area.
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Generous package including medical/dental/vision, 401(k), and a profit-sharing pension plan.
