Full Job Description
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you'll manage affordable housing projects through development and closing, playing an integral role in project structuring, underwriting, and deal negotiation.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in affordable housing development, particularly with LIHTC, and possess deep financial expertise to support the company's mission of delivering high-quality, affordable, and mixed-income housing.

Salary Range: $110,000-$125,000 + Bonus Structure

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's in Real Estate, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience in multifamily real estate development, with at least 3 years in affordable housing and LIHTC.
  • Strong background in real estate finance, including underwriting, capital stack structuring, and closing.
  • Experience managing complex, multi-layered financing transactions.
  • Familiarity with public and private financing tools, including LIHTC, tax-exempt bonds, and soft funding sources.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis using Excel; familiarity with accounting software and financial reporting tools is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Applicant must have skills and experience in negotiating acquisitions and financing commitments.
  • Proficiency with Word and Excel is required; proficiency with PowerPoint is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Help oversee the full lifecycle of development projects from award through stabilization.
  • Engage with team in financial feasibility, underwriting analysis, due diligence, entitlement, design, construction, and lease-up.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure project success.
  • Represent Holladay Ventures in capital raising and negotiations with financial partners on LOIs and closing documents Manage and help in facilitating the closing process with all financial partners including equity, debt, and public subsidies.
  • Lead financial modeling, underwriting, and scenario analysis for new and existing projects.
  • Prepare and review development budgets, sources and uses, and pro forma operating statements.
  • Monitor financial performance of projects and ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Lead preparation of investor and lender packages, including due diligence and compliance documentation.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Development and Finance teams to ensure seamless integration of financial and development functions.
  • Coordinate with accounting on project cost tracking, draw requests, and financial reporting.
  • Assist in strategic planning, forecasting, and portfolio analysis.
