Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of commercial or technical business experience, specifically in purchasing, finance, logistics, or manufacturing.
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
• Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize independently.
• Proficient in MS Office suite.
• Experience working in a global matrix organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage all commercial aspects of equipment purchases for the BIW commodity.
• Collaborate strategically with Manufacturing and Engineering to define commodity strategies.
• Develop and present materials and data to senior management, including Senior Vice Presidents.
• Track program changes to ensure spending is within approved budgets.
• Manage supplier relationships, including contract maintenance and annual cost-saving targets.
• Support Indirect Purchasing process improvements to enhance organizational efficiency.
• Lead initiatives to improve overall purchasing processes within the department.
