If located in a Truist hub city location, the work style will be: In Office (5 days/week).

This role is responsible for providing product and/or processing expertise within Derivative Trading, Securities Trading, Loan Trading or Agency Services Lines of Business within Capital Markets Operations and to be a manager or team lead of a specific function. Major responsibilities include working on and providing guidance on core operational tasks including Client On-Boarding, Trade Capture, Securities Settlement and Clearance, Confirmations, Client Support or Margin/Collateral processing. This role requires the ability to work in a fast paced environment, multi task with strong communication skills, and to effectively work alongside and communicate with external clients as well as Technology, Compliance, Risk, Legal, Sales and Trading internal partners.

The annual base salary for this position is $130,000 - $160,000.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1.    Process transactions as specifically required by job function and work independently to complete daily tasks within specified time parameters. 
2.    Supervise teammates for timely completion of daily work
3.    Engage in initiatives and projects associated with functional areas and provide subject matter expertise, as needed
4.    Interact with clients, teammates from the LOB and other support teammates to process requests and resolve issues
5.    Ensure functional procedures and controls are being followed and maintained
6.    Requires a level of proficiency in specific products and technology associated with Capital Markets
    QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1.    BS/BA Degree, or equivalent education 
2.    Thorough Understanding of Microsoft Office software, especially Excel. 
3.    Knowledge of brokerage systems or operations
4.    In-depth knowledge of financial industry, products, and regulatory environment 
5.    Excellent interpersonal, time management and problem solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
1.    Eight years of capital markets operations experience with functional knowledge of brokerage systems and operations. Ability to show increased level of responsibility and prior management or leadership experience
2.    Ability to collect, analyze, interpret, report and communicate data effectively
3.    Ability to research, review facts and apply analysis in order to formulate strategies
4.    Excellent managerial skills and the ability to manage teams
5.    FINRA Series 99 or 7
6.    Master's Degree (e.g., MBA, CFA, JD etc.)
7.    Advanced user of Excel with macro knowledge

8. Proficient in foreign exchange loans, currency conversions, and all various actions associated with those loans

9. Proficient in Microsoft:  Access, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), Power Apps, and Power BI
