Be the face of SGH. Shape the future of engineering.Simpson Gumpertz & Heger (SGH) is seeking a strategic, organized, and relationship-driven Campus Recruiting Specialist to build and expand our early-career talent strategy and campus recruiting program.
The role offers an opportunity to take ownership of SGH's early-career recruiting efforts, developing the processes, guidelines, relationships, and best practices needed to build a consistent and scalable program. You'll work closely with hiring managers and business leaders to understand early-career hiring needs, develop relationships with colleges and universities, expand SGH's campus presence, and create strong pipelines of emerging technical talent across our engineering disciplines.
This role is both strategic and hands-on. You'll help shape the direction of the program while also leading the execution of career fairs, information sessions, technical presentations, networking events, and other campus activities. You'll be responsible for keeping the program organized and moving forward-from planning and logistics through follow-up and continuous improvement.

Location: Waltham, MA | Hybrid | Significant travel during peak recruiting seasons (September-November and February-April)
What You'll Do- Develop and execute SGH's early-career and campus recruiting strategy.
- Establish processes, guidelines, tools, and best practices to create a consistent and scalable program.
- Build and maintain relationships with universities, career centers, faculty, and student organizations.
- Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to identify priority schools, disciplines, and early-career hiring needs.
- Lead the planning and execution of career fairs, information sessions, technical presentations, networking events, and other campus activities.
- Manage event logistics, including registration, scheduling, travel, materials, communications, and employee participation.
- Maintain the university recruiting calendar and track events, deadlines, participation, and recruiting activity.
- Partner with Marketing and other internal stakeholders to strengthen SGH's campus presence and recruiting materials.
- Track program results and identify opportunities to improve and expand our early-career recruiting efforts.
- Provide guidance and resources to SGH employees participating in campus recruiting activities.
What You'll Need- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in campus recruiting, university relations, recruiting, program/project coordination, HR, event management, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience building, developing, or improving programs, processes, or initiatives.
- Professional experience working with an applicant tracking system (ATS) is required; experience with Greenhouse and Handshake is preferred.
- Exceptional organization, project coordination, attention to detail, and follow-through.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, events, and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and create structure in an evolving program.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with recruiting technology/ATS is a plus.
- Willingness to travel nationally to support campus events and university outreach.

Compensation:The below range is a good faith estimate pursuant to applicable equal pay and pay transparency laws. The actual salary offered will be based on several factors including the candidate's experience, qualifications and work location.
Base salary is a part of SGH's industry leading Total Compensation package. Our Total Compensation package includes base salary, pay for extra hours worked, an annual discretionary bonus program, generous paid time off, and health and wellness benefits with a special emphasis on substantial SGH contributions to medical insurance premiums and SGH's Profit Sharing & 401(k) Plan.
This position is eligible for a $3,000 sign-on bonus.
Operations Role:
$110,000-$115,000 USD
