Campaign Management Manager
Cooley is seeking a Campaign Management Manager to join the Marketing and Client Development team.

Position summary: This role is part of the Strategy, Transformation & Growth Team, which acts as the firm's "central nervous system," building the scalable infrastructure and data-backed frameworks that allow Marketing & Client Development to move from reactive execution to proactive, high-impact strategy. It ensures that strategic choices and unique brand differentiating experiences (spanning high-end events to targeted digital channels) are translated into repeatable, optimized market performance that makes the firm stand out in market. Specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Position responsibilities:
  • End-to-End Project Orchestration: Lead the project lifecycle for all marketing campaigns, managing timelines, resource dependencies, and delivery milestones.
  • Workflow Design & Governance: Define and optimize standardized campaign workflows, ensuring a seamless hand-off process between Business Unit stakeholders, creative enablers, and digital execution teams.
  • Cross-Functional Asset Coordination: Act as the primary traffic controller for all campaign components (copy, design, video, and data), ensuring every asset is delivered on-time, on-brand, and to specification.
  • Comprehensive UAT & Deployment Readiness: Lead the final User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for all customer journeys, rigorously testing logic branches, tracking links, and asset rendering across devices to ensure a "zero-defect" launch.
  • Enabler Integration: Project manage the contributions of internal "enabler" teams-including Creative, Content, and Digital Experience-to ensure their outputs are synchronized within the master campaign timeline.
  • Platform & Tool Administration: Serve as the power user and administrator for the campaign management or project tracking tools (e.g.,Workfront), maintaining real-time visibility into the campaign portfolio health.
  • Bottleneck Identification & Resolution: Proactively identify project risks or resource constraints, facilitating "stand-up" meetings or sprint reviews to resolve conflicts and keep high-priority journeys on track.
  • Quality Assurance & Brand Stewardship: Ensure all final campaign assets adhere to the firm's visual and narrative standards, conducting final quality checks before hand-off to the Digital Experience channels.
  • Stakeholder Status Orchestration: Provide clear, consistent status reporting to BU Marketers and MCD leadership, managing expectations regarding production capacity and launch windows.
  • Post-Launch Process Audit: Lead campaign "wrap-up" sessions to evaluate workflow efficiency, documenting lessons learned to continuously refine the firm's campaign deployment "playbook."
  • All other duties as assigned or required


Skills and experience:

Required:
  • After orientation at Cooley LLP, exhibit proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, iManage and other firm applications
  • Ability to work extended and/or weekend hours, as required
  • Ability to travel, as required
  • 5+ years applicable experience in the field (e.g., marketing or business development, preferably with an emphasis working in a strategy, transformation, or growth function)
  • Builds and manages comprehensive campaign work plans, assigning resources based on capacity, tracking progress, and escalating roadblocks/risks as appropriate
  • Leads regular meeting campaign cadences, providing status reports and managing expectations across stakeholders and teams
  • Proven project management experience (including use of project management tools/tracking); project management certifications preferred

Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Supervisory experience
  • Prior legal industry or professional services experience

The expected annual pay range for this position with a full-time schedule is $120,000 - $175,000. Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience and skillset of the candidate.
